JDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for four Learning Support Assistants for a Secondary school in Tower Hamlets.

• Tower Hamlets
• Secondary School – caters for students with Autism, PMLD and SEMH.
• Easily Accessible by public transport.
• Immediate starts or from January 2024
• Long term roles
• £88 – £100 per day
• Classroom Support – KS3 & KS4
• 1:1 or group work support
• Full time; 8am – 4pm (Term Time only) Monday to Friday.
• Candidates must hold a clear & enhanced DBS.

To support secondary students in KS3 – KS4 with special educational needs including Autism, PMLD or SEMH difficulties.

These roles will require talented Learning Support Assistants who are flexible, enthusiastic, and dedicated to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential, while remaining engaged in their learning.

Applicants must possess a minimum of 3 months experience working with children within a school setting as a learning support assistant.

Applicants must see this as more than a job & want to make a real difference in their students’ lives.

You will need to feel confident within a classroom environment and be able to take direction from a class teacher.

The role will include:

• 1:1 work with students who require additional support
• Leading group work as a learning support assistant
• Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
• Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation and resources.
