Full-Time post: 8.30am – 4pm
JDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for two Learning Support Assistants to work on a full-time basis at our SEND college based in Tower Hamlets, East London.
– To support students in further education with Autism and Complex needs.
– To start immediately until July 2024 (with a view to continue)
– Must be available to work full-time (term-time only) – Monday to Friday.
– This is a very challenging role and due to the severity of the student’s needs, the school will require reliable and consistent staff to support in a variety of lessons including functional skills, life skills and to undertake work experience preparation.
– The college offers an inclusive and exciting curriculum to meet the diverse needs of all students who attend the college.
– The college focuses on offering its students both learning and career opportunities to prepare them before they finish their education
– Hours: 8.30am – 4pm
– Must have at least 3 months school experience working with students with autism and have an awareness of safeguarding policies within a further education environment.
