Year 5 Primary Teacher – Maternity Cover

JDS Recruitment are in need of a year 5 Primary Teacher for our primary school in Tower Hamlets for a long-term position (maternity cover).

Details on the teacher position:

– Year 5 class.

– Mainstream primary class.

– Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

– Must be available to start work immediately and can commit until July 2024

– OFSTED rated:         Good

– Hours: 8.30am – 4pm

– The teacher will be expected to complete and devise lesson plans, this isn’t a cover/supply booking, the role will be that of a full-time primary teacher.

– Location: Tower Hamlets.

– Must have at least 12 months UK school experience teaching primary students, either KS1 or KS2.

– Must be confident to teach a class of year 5 students.

– Must have excellent behaviour and classroom management skills.

– We are seeking a committed and reliable Primary Teacher with QTS to commit to our school and students for the full duration of the booking.

– The school is very strict with timekeeping and attendance levels.

This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT)

– The daily pay rate is to be negotiated (dependent upon experience)
